Year 7/8 Adventure Camp

We are very excited to announce that we have been able to secure some spots for 45 of our Year 7 students to attend the Year 8 camp, as this is the last time that we are using this camp.

If you would like your child to be considered for the camp, please consent and pay $250 to secure your spot by Monday 4 August. Full payment, of an additional $225, must be paid by Friday 14 August.

The Year 8 Camp for 2026 will be held at Phillip Island Adventure Camp.  The dates for Year 8 Camp are Monday 7 September to Wednesday 9 September, 2026. 

Phillip Island Adventure Camp's focus is providing inspiring and life changing experiences through a combination of meaningful programs and powerful activities that build self worth, character, success and happiness which will enable our students to "Discover what you are truly capable of. All students are strongly encouraged to attend camp. The Adventure-based school camps at CYC Phillip Island Adventure Resort help students build confidence and connection, with our experienced team supporting teachers to create a camp experience where learning continues long after the classroom.

Accommodation caters for up to 130 people in air-conditioned comfort. Activities may flying fox, high ropes, giant swing, problem solving and team building activities. 

The cost of the camp is $475 per student. 

As our Year 8 Camp gives our students the opportunity to continue to grow as individuals and a group. We strongly recommend that all students attend the camp. Any students that are not attending will still be required at Melba College for the three days.
