Multicultural Day

Multicultural Day is an annual school event where we celebrate and appreciate the diversity of cultures that make up our school. The day will be organised in the following way:

* Multicultural Activities 9.40 – 11.10am and 2.10 – 3.10pm

Students will be involved in grade/stage - based activities throughout the day which will have a cultural focus.

* Performances  12.40 - 1.50pm (approximately)

Groups performing include (in no particular order of performance):

• Lion Dance Troupe

• Cambodian Dance Group 

• Vietnamese Dance Group – Year 2

• Vietnamese Dance Group – Year 5

• Chinese Dance Group

• Middle Eastern Dance Group

• Italian Dance Group

• 4B Bush Dance

• Choir

Parents and carers are invited to be part of the audience 12.40 – 1.50pm.

On the day, we encourage the students to come dressed in national costume or in the colours of a particular country or countries that represent their cultural background/s.

We look forward to the support of our families in making Multicultural Day a wonderful experience for the students of St Johns Park Public School.
