DigiTech - Cam Taylor

Students will explore how to follow, describe and represent algorithms involving a sequence of steps, branching (decisions) and iteration (repetition) needed to solve simple problems. They will learn about internet safety and how to be respectful and safe in different online environments.

Art - Carmel Fitzgerald

In Term One the Grade Twos will look at the concept of primary colours and focus on the skills of drawing and painting, being mindful of personal safety. They will use colours and expressions to make connections to their own story.

Music – Kiara Cameron

Students will explore a new rhythm, ‘ta-a’, through playing music games, instruments, singing and movement. They will also begin combining stem and note heads when writing music notes. 

Science – Lisa Ryan

Students will identify materials to be natural or man-made and explore how these materials can be physically changed by different actions without changing the materials’ composition.

Physical Education – Danielle Coates and Class Teachers

Students will continue to establish safety and expectations in PE while further developing their spatial awareness and group work skills. They will focus on the fundamental movement skills of overarm throw, catching, dodging, and running. In addition, students will prepare for and participate in the school cross country.
