Next week, we will discuss our home reading program with students, which will play a vital part in each child’s reading development and the partnership between home and school. Children will select from a band of texts that will provide some easy and instructional texts, as well as some texts that may provide a little challenge for your child. We ask that you listen to your child read, talk about the book and make a note in their home reading diary at least 4 times each week. We thank you in advance for your support with this program. We look forward to meeting with you at our first Learning Conversations in Week 4.
