2025 College Production

Following the official announcement of our cast last week, we are excited to share that the first full cast read-through of Beauty and the Beast Jr. took place on Wednesday, 26th March. The enthusiasm and energy from everyone involved was incredible and we can’t wait to see this fantastic production come to life!

A note from our Performing Arts Captains

On Tuesday the 26th of March, our talented Beauty and the Beast Jr cast came together with the Performing Arts team to do our school’s first ever full read-through of the script. This went tremendously well with students singing along to the songs, experimenting with their characters accents and meeting their new family for the first time! 

Throughout the read-through we saw a plot of the stage design for our 2025 show, which got the whole cast so excited to see the set we will get to work with in our upcoming rehearsals, beginning in term 2. This was a great experience to have because we met our production family, the people who will be creating the scenes with each other for our adaption of the iconic musical. 

After seeing our cast’s abilities, excitement and enthusiasm, we are sure this will be the most spectacular production our school has yet to produce. So, everyone watch out, because like Belle, you too may find the Beauty in a Beast.
