Bulldogs Read Program Update

Gallery Image

Last Friday, May 15th, students involved in the Bulldogs Read Program enjoyed an exciting visit to Whitten Oval. During the day, students watched the Western Bulldogs captain’s run, collected player signatures, visited the Bulldogs museum and learned about the significance of the club’s Sir Doug Nicholls Round guernsey.

Students also enjoyed travelling to Melbourne by train and had the opportunity to connect with students from other schools involved in the Bulldogs Read Program. It was a fantastic day and a memorable experience for all involved.

Home Reading

Last week at our year P-2 assembly we acknowledged students in those year levels who have successfully completed 50 or 100 nights of home reading.

These students have also demonstrated a great deal of commitment and organisational skills by recording all books that they have read and submitting those details on time each week as part of the homework expectations.  A huge congratulations to the following students:

Education Week

This week is Education Week in Victoria. Education Week is an annual celebration of public education in Victoria.

In 2026, Victoria celebrates Education Week from Monday 18 May to Friday 22 May.

The theme of 2026 Education Week is Showcase your school, encouraging school communities to celebrate what’s great about their school.

Throughout the week we’ll be asking students and other members of our school community to share what they think is great about our school.

You can do this by completing a template at the school office or commenting on this week's social media posts.
