Smile Squad six-month fluoride varnish visit

The Each Smile Squad team are heading back to our school on Monday 1st June to complete six-monthly fluoride varnish applications for those students who have provided consent. Fluoride varnish applications help make sure students have the best chance of preventing tooth decay, so we’re excited Smile Squad are coming back.

Consent for this fluoride varnish application was provided when students’ initial consent forms were returned. However, if anyone has changed their mind and do not wish to receive a fluoride varnish application, they can contact Each directly to let them know. Please contact the Smile Squad team via:

Whole School house Athletics

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our House Athletics Carnival will be held in Term 3, Week 2 on Wednesday 22nd July.

In order for the Athletics Carnival to run successfully, we are seeking parent helpers to assist throughout the day. We require support with supervising age groups, running events, and assisting at the finish line with organisation and recording. The event is held at Proclamation Park, 11-13 Sylvia Grove, Ringwood.

If you are available from 9:30am – 2:00pm on Wednesday 22nd July, please email me at

bonny.chisholm@education.vic.gov.au

All volunteers will need a valid Working With Children Check and register at school office before the event.

Thank you in advance for your support. The carnival cannot run without the invaluable help of our parent community.

Yours in fitness and health ,

Camps,Sport,Excursion Fund

For those families who have a current Health Care Card in the name of a parent/guardian, you are entitled to $400 from the Camps, Sports, Excursions Fund.  If you have received this through MPS previously and your details are unchanged you do not have to submit a new form.

For those who are new to MPS or have changed details since last year, please fill out the attached form and return to the school office along with a copy of your Health Care Card as soon as possible.  Hard copy forms are available at the office also. These must be submitted to the office by 26th June 2026.

You can check the Finacial Assistance document below to see if you are eligibil for this. Or go to CSEF Eligibility for more information.

Agreements and Consent

Review and acknowledgement by families of our Acceptable Use Agreement for Digital Technologies, and consent for a number of items is generally collected at the commencement of each academic year. However, moving forward as per Dept guidelines, permission now only needs to be given at the beginning of the students enrolment and will last until they leave the school.

If you did not complete this last year that means we currently do not have a record of consent/non consent provided by you. Please complete by Tuesday 10th February.

If you wish to change your permission at any stage you can email the school and it can be changed.

These permissions are found in the Course Confirmation menu, select 2026 Consent and Agreements. This page will give a description of each Permission/Agreement. At the bottom of the screen select ‘NEXT’, this will then give you the 4 Permission/Agreements, answer ‘YES’ or ‘NO’ to each of these then ‘PROCEED’

Please contact the office if you have trouble completing the permissions.

Do you love music? Would you love to learn an instrument along with your friends? Just Brass is coming to Marlborough Primary school again this year and we are offering free lessons and use of instrument for any interested students from year 3-6. The Ringwood Salvation Army is running this fantastic project to give back to the community and share the joy of music.

The program includes weekly lessons at school and transport to and from the Ringwood Salvation Army 49-53 Wantirna road every Friday after school. There, all students will participate in a brass band rehearsal and a tasty afternoon tea. If required, we will bus you back to school or your parents can drop into rehearsal and pick you up if they prefer.

Ask for forms at your school office. The program will commence Friday February 20th, and limited spots are still available.

For any questions regarding the program please contact, Trudy Gittins (Just Brass co-ordinator) on 0450543651 or email trudyalg@gmail.com
