A Showcase of Learning Across the School

K-2 Room

During Religious Education lessons, students have been learning about Bible stories when God showed that he is with us. These stories included The Birth of Moses (Exodus 2), David and Goliath (1 Samuel 17) and Jonah and the Whale (The Book of Jonah). Below are some of the artworks created by the students.

Stage 2 Room

During Writing, Stage 2 students have been learning to identify the structure and purpose of Information Texts and to include Tier 3 vocabulary (Scientific words) to create their own Information Reports on their chosen Australian Animals. Below are some of the completed Information Reports and the proud Authors.

Stage 3 Room

The Stage 3 students have also been focusing on writing Scientific Animal Information Reports, however their focus has shifted to creating their own Hybrid Fictional Dangerous Animal. Students wrote their own Information Reports, created a diorama to showcase their habitats and finally created a 3D model of their animal using clay.
