Big Day at RSC This Friday! 🎉

This Friday 11th September is set to be one of the biggest days of the term, as we round out our Food Share Blitz with a huge celebration in conjunction with R U OK? Day. 

Here's everything students, staff and parents need to know.

What's Happening

Bake Sale 

All funds raised go straight to the Food Share Blitz drive, supporting Rochester Community House. We are also asking for donations of baked goods — if you're able to bake something for the sale, please send it in with your child (or with yourself, staff!) on Friday morning.

Casual Dress Day 

Students and staff are invited to wear casual clothes for a gold coin donation. 

All proceeds go towards Food Share. Students are encouraged to wear white for our Colour Run.

Colour Run — Period 5 

Get ready for colour! Please note the following:

• Wear white clothing so the colour really pops
• Bus students: bring a change of clothes for after the run

• All students: bring sunglasses or clear glasses to protect your eyes, and wear clothes you don't mind getting colour powder on

   

Years 7–10 Activities — Period 4 

A dedicated activity session for students in Years 7 to 10

Food Trucks — Lunch time

Food trucks will be on-site for students to purchase lunch. 

A rough outline of the menu and pricing is below:

Please ensure students bring enough money if they wish to purchase lunch from the food trucks.  

Our school Canteen will be operating as normal and below are two specials that will be available:

Chicken Taco Bowls with rice, fresh salsa and guacamole $ 6.50  - Please order at recess

Jam donuts $3.50

Why We're Doing This

This Friday brings together two important causes: supporting our local community through the Food Share Blitz, and checking in on each other for R U OK? Day. 

We can't wait to see the whole school get involved!
