Last Friday, we celebrated our School Patron - Our Lady, Mary, Mother of Jesus.
It was a day filled with lots of exciting activities, opportunity to work with students in other levels and celebrate what makes Mary so special in our School.
We also ended the day in a special way with our Annual Feast Day Mass celebrated with Fr Godfrey and our School Leaders. This Mass also let us acknowledge the 2nd annual Our Lady's Feast Day Award Recipients.
We also acknowledged 2 very special artists who created some amazing Artworks of our School Patron as part of our Art Competition. We would like to thank all of our students for their entries in this special art competition and wish we could give a prize to everyone!
They will be on display in the Prep corridor for the first few weeks of Term 4.
On Thursday, the 18th of September, our Sustainability team and Social Justice Leaders alongside our School Captains, had a special incursion with Mariana of the Columban Mission to talk to us about Care for Creation and Common Home. We spoke about Pope Francis' Laudato Si and how we can be environmental leaders, continuing his mission on Earth.
Through this incursion, we have planted some new flowers and herbs in pots to then plant around our school to add some extra colour and flavour into our landscape environment. This was a great experience, enjoyed by all.
