🌺 ANZAC Day 🌺

Last Saturday, we acknowledged ANZAC Day, a time to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who have served our country.

At OSHC throughout last week, we took few moments to reflect on the importance of respect, remembrance, and gratitude, helping children develop an understanding of this significant day in a thoughtful and age-appropriate way.

🔥 Hearth Day – Caring for Our Environment 🔥

Last week, our Hearth Day focused on caring for our environment and community. Children and educators came together to clean up the school yard, working collaboratively to collect rubbish, particularly plastic waste left from lunch boxes.

This shared experience created an opportunity for meaningful conversations about sustainability and how we can all make more environmentally responsible choices. The children showed great initiative, teamwork, and pride in looking after their surroundings.

Hearth Day was a wonderful reminder of the power of working together and the importance of caring for our environment. 

📣 School Holiday Program – We Value Your Feedback!

Thank you to all families who have already provided feedback on our School Holiday Program. We truly appreciate and value your input, which helps us reflect on our program, recognise what worked well, and identify areas for improvement.

Your feedback is essential in supporting us to continue delivering a high-quality, engaging, and safe program for all children. We are grateful for your time and ongoing support.

💳 Child Care Subsidy (CCS) – Important Reminder

Thank you to all families who have been reaching out and taking steps to review and update their Child Care Subsidy (CCS) arrangements—we appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

We kindly remind all families to regularly check their statements to ensure CCS is being applied correctly. We have noticed that some families are currently not receiving CCS, which may be due to:

• Enrolments not being successfully confirmed through Centrelink, or 
• CCS entitlement not yet approved or updated by Centrelink. 

To avoid unexpected out-of-pocket costs, please ensure:

• Your CCS enrolment is confirmed via your Centrelink account, and 
• Your entitlement is active and up to date. 

We also recommend setting up a payment method to manage any gap fees. Alternatively, payments can be made through the app using “Pay Day Now.”
