Polding Athletics

On Friday 11th September 2026, Ned N will be attending the 2026 Polding Athletics Championships being held at Hunter Sports Centre, Glendale. After his success at the recent Diocesan Athletics Carnival in Tamworth, Ned qualified for the Senior Boys High Jump. 

We wish Ned all the best as he travels to this event. It is a huge achievement! Well done Ned!

Golf

On Friday 28th August 2026, our students will begin participating in the Sporting Schools Golf Program. Students will learn the skills of golf and apply these learnt skills to a variety of situations. We are lucky enough to have Dylan Thompson, a specialised Golf Coach attending these sessions to assist students. 

We look forward to seeing if we have any golf stars on our hands!

Armidale Catholic Schools Soccer and Netball Gala Day

The Armidale Catholic Schools Soccer and Netball Gala Day is being held on Friday 18th September in Inverell. Students in Stage 2 or Stage 3 may nominate for this event. Students will be placed into a teams on the day to represent St Mary of the Angels. In the event that there are not enough students who nominate, students will join with another small school. 

Nominatations for this have closed, however we still require players for a SMOTA team. If you child would like to participate in this event, please contact the front office as soon as possible. There is no previous experience in either sport required.
