St Mark's Family Fun Day

All the planning, the stressing, the checking of lists and checking them off again and the wondering of whether we had missed anything – was absolutely all worth it! 

Saturday’s Family Fun Day saw what can be described as another successful event which saw lots of people come through our gates and enjoy the festivities with our wonderful event. From the never ending dunk tank of Miss Christina, to the bustling market and food (so many yummy items) stalls and the wonderfully talented parents who entertained us musically but also MC’d the day so perfectly – what more can we say?

Not only did we draw in the crowds from our own St Marks’ community, but it was lovely to see so many other families from outside of our school enjoying our community event. 

The day of course would not happen without the tireless support and assistance of the staff at St Mark’s – firstly Peter and then Claire and Steph. Thank you both for stepping up and leading the way but also to all our wonderful staff who assisted massively. We thank you and are grateful for taking time away from your weekend to be part of such an important day for our children.

Lastly, to our families – thank you, thank you, thank you! Whether it was through your very valued donations, letter drops, a delicious baked treat, your time volunteering on the committee, both before, during and after the event – or by attending on the day and showing your support. These types of events cannot occur without your help and St Mark’s always goes above and beyond because of you all! 

The KM@STM is pleased to advise that after expenses we have been able to raise approximately $11,000 -  what an amazing effort! This money is going to be used to directly benefit the students of St Mark's through the purchase of new devices to support our learning and IT programs.
