Library News:

On Wednesday 27 May 2026 at 12.00 pm AEST, millions of children, parents, teachers, and library lovers across Australia and beyond came together to read Luna Roo at the same time — celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling and connection.
Read by Adam Jackson, Adrian Lloyd, and the illustrator Jake Minton Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller is about soccer player Luna Roo who finds her inner strength on the field in this energetic underdog story. It is a powerful celebration of courage, self-belief, and pushing through when things get tough. She showed courage and resilience to prove the others wrong.
After the reading students enjoyed creating and colouring in their own versions of Luna Roo, the kangaroo baller!
