 Targeted Meets and Events

The following meets are targeted meets on the Club Calendar

**Although there are specific squads listed who should enter each meet, any swimmer from any squad are free to enter if they wish. There will always be coaches at these targeted meets to support swimmers from any squad, so feel free to enter and get in on the racing action!

National Target, State Age & Junior Talent Nutrition Sessions

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting our swimmers both in and out of the pool, Ringwood Swimming Club has partnered with Thrive Sports Medicine to deliver nutrition education sessions during the school holidays.

These sessions have been specifically designed for swimmers in our National Target, State Age and Junior Talent squads, with content tailored to their age, stage of development, and the nutritional demands of their training and competition schedules.

Apologies for the short notice. We have only just finalised the details with Thrive Sports Medicine and wanted to share them with you as soon as possible.

There will be three sessions held in the clubrooms:

Girls Session

Monday 29th June

3:30pm – 4:30pm

Boys Session

Monday 6th July

3:30pm – 4:30pm

Parent Information Session

Monday 6th July

5:30pm – 6:30pm

All swimmers are expected to attend their allocated session, as it will provide valuable information to help them fuel their training, optimize performance, and support their overall health and recovery.

The parent session will provide practical strategies and advice to help families support their swimmer's nutritional needs at home, during training, and at competitions. Please ensure at least one parent attends this session.

National Target, State Age, Junior Talent & Senior Development end of term activity- Paintball

Here are the details for the swimmers attending the paintball on Sunday.

Event Details

Date: Sunday 28th June

Arrival Time: 9:40amPlease ensure you arrive on time, as the compulsory safety briefing will commence promptly at 9:45am.

Game Time: 10:15am – 11:30/11:45am

Lunch: Following the games

Pick Up Time: 12:45pm

Equipment & Safety The paintball venue provides all required safety equipment, including helmets, overalls, and protective gear for all participants. A comprehensive safety briefing will be conducted before games commence.

Waiver Form Required

All participants must have a completed waiver form before taking part.
