Residential

Farewell and thank you
Next week we are farewelling Mrs Phillipa Arthur and Mr Nigel Frear who are retiring at the end of Term 2. This follows the retirement of Mr Mark Barnier earlier this year. Our staff are so valued and never want to leave the students. However, we wish them all the best on their retirement adventures. We shall be celebrating their farewell on Thursday 26 June at our dinner and Awards Night Bonfire evening.
Mrs Arthur has been at the College as both student and staff member. One of the College's early female students 1981/1982. Following a career in farming, volunteer ambulance, disability and aged care work, Mrs Arthur returned to the College in July 2018. Pip and her husband Peter are travelling around Australia, but she will be back either on the farm or in residential as a casual later this year.
Mr Frear has been a Residential Supervisor at Cundy Ag for close to 10 years. Most commonly known as "Nige" he is well known for his early wake up calls after finishing his awake shifts at night. Nigel will be spending his retirement in his beloved shed tinkering and inventing all sorts of contraptions and machines. He is a jack of all trades and master of a couple more.
We are currently advertising for Residential Supervisors to fill their huge shoes and would love to hear from anyone with experience working with young adults. Please call me if you would like to discuss.
