Year 8 English: The Show Must Go On!

Our Year 8 students have been working hard in their English unit, The Show Must Go On. Throughout the term, they explored the world of drama by learning about stage directions, script structures, and key drama conventions.

As part of their studies, students read and analysed the play Canterville Castle. They then had the opportunity to show their understanding and creativity by designing costumes for characters, creating set designs for key scenes, or illustrating a storyboard of the main events in the play.

The results were fantastic! Students showcased their imagination and artistic talents in a range of thoughtful and engaging creations. It was wonderful to see their interpretations of the play come to life in such unique and creative ways.

Well done to all our Year 8 students on their enthusiastic participation and outstanding work!
