Taka recently took out first place trophy at a karate tournament he visited for the first time. It was for kata division. WELL DONE TAKA!!

On Sunday Peter competed in the Australian Federation of Brazilian Jiujitsu and has now become:

U32kg AJJC Australian Champion.

It has been an amazing 13 months of competition for Peter with the following achievements to his name in the in the Grappling Industries Federation:

• June 2022 = U55 GI Victorian Champion.
• September 2022 = U55 GI Victorian Champion.
• March 2023 = U65 GI Victorian Champion.
• April 2023 = U65 GI & NO GI South Australian Champion.
• May 2023 = U65 GI & NO GI Victorian Champion.
• June 2023 = U75 GI & NO GI New South Wales Silver Medallist.
• July 2023 = U65 GI & NO GI Grey Division Victorian Champion.
• 2022 Extreme BJJ Best Junior Athlete of the Year: 7-12yrs.

His current points now rank him internationally in the top 10 for his age group; with some exciting competitions on the horizon in 2023.
