Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Carers,

We sincerely thank our wonderful Parents & Friends (P&F) Committee for coordinating such a special week of celebrations in honour of our mothers. As we prepare to celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday, we take the opportunity to acknowledge and give thanks for the love, support, and care that mothers and mother figures bring to our community each and every day.

We are particularly appreciative of the many fathers who volunteered their time on Tuesday morning to assist with serving morning tea to our mums and students. It was a warm and joyful gathering enjoyed by all. Thank you also to Mr Daidone and Mr Ross for capturing the occasion through photographs that families will treasure for many years.

A special thank you to Mrs Ady and her dedicated team for the thoughtful preparation of the Mother’s Day Mass. We are also grateful to Fr Justin for leading such a prayerful and meaningful celebration centred on faith, love, and gratitude.

Thank you once again to our P&F Committee for organising Wednesday’s Mother’s Day Stall. It was wonderful to see so many excited students carefully choosing gifts for the special mothers and carers in their lives.

School Winter Uniforms

From Monday 11th May, ALL students must be in FULL WINTER UNIFORM, including correct shoes.

Sand Pit Success

On Tuesday this week the new sandpit was opened for business.  It's fair to say it has been a huge success with many happy customers!

Special thanks to Danny for all of his amazing work in completing this project.  

Danny's next project is to construct a new bench seat around the tree next to the canteen.

Memorial Seat Project

We have now selected the seating style for our Memorial Garden Project, with the ‘Barcelona’ style seat being overwhelmingly chosen by both staff and students.

The next stage of the project will involve selecting the colours for the seats. We are currently considering either a neutral colour palette or colours that reflect the favourite sporting teams of Mr Noonan, Miss Leanne and Mr Bau. I will continue to consult with staff, the Student Representative Council and the School Advisory Council to determine the most appropriate option.

Each of the three seats will also feature an individual memorial plaque dedicated to honouring our three valued former staff members.
