"What makes BSWPS Great?" - Prep 

VIC Police Visit - 1/2

Our Junior School students recently enjoyed an exciting visit from local police officers, who taught them about the important role police play in keeping our community safe. The officers were very impressed by how much the students already knew about police uniforms and safety in the community. A highlight of the session was the fascinating fingerprint demonstration, where students learned how fingerprints can help solve crimes. The excitement continued as students had the opportunity to sit in the police car and see the flashing lights and sirens up close. It was a fun and memorable learning experience for all!

The Hike with Frog & Toad - 3/4

Frog and Toad were going out for lunch. When suddenly Frog came up with an idea.

“How about we go for a hike in the mountains?” asked Frog.

“Fine,” replied Toad.  “But only if I get to direct!”

“Um…. okay,” said Frog worriedly.

The next morning Frog and Toad packed all their supplies. At the hiking centre Toad said, “Go straight for 4 kms and then turn right”. 

“Are you sure?” asked Frog.

“Sure?” boasted Toad,” of course!” 

A few hours later they did get lost.

“Great.” said Toad sarcastically.

Just then a baby deer appeared from a bush. In a tiny little 

voice the Deer said, “Follow me.” So, they all followed the little deer on the hike. The deer became friends with Frog and Toad, and they all lived happily ever after.
