Dear St Mary’s Community,

Confirmation Reflection Day

Yesterday our Confirmation candidates participated in a very special retreat, marking an important step in their preparation for the Sacrament. The day began with prayer and the celebration of Parish Mass, centering the group on faith and community. Students then enjoyed interactive activities such as a Working with the Holy Spirit Quiz and a visit from Fr Jerome, who shared his wisdom and encouragement.

The retreat was a wonderful balance of prayer, play, and reflection. Highlights included games exploring the Fruits and Gifts of the Spirit, singing together and a creative religious art session. Students also spent time in our parish church for prayer and quiet reflection. It was a joy to see them engage so deeply with the day, supporting one another and growing in their faith journey. We are grateful to all who contributed to making this retreat such a meaningful and memorable experience.

A huge thank you to Liz , Charmaine and Grace who volunteered to help prepare morning team and lunch.

Thank you to Fr Jerome and the Parish for providing the food and snacks for the children throughout the day.

Please keep the candidates in your prayers ahead of the Confirmation Mass on Wednesday 10th September at 6pm at St Mary's Church.

Father's Day Mass
