26 August Perth Army Reserve Information Session

 

Experience flexible commitment in an Army Reserve role and earn money as you study for your degree or VET qualification.

28 August Closing Date for Elevate: Boosting diversity in STEM

Boosting diversity in STEM program will award undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships to women and non-binary people in STEM.

 

Elevate aims to address inequities in STEM through comprehensive scholarships enabling more diverse women and non-binary people to access tertiary STEM education, professional skills development and STEM leadership opportunities with industry and academia.

 

The Elevate program provides:

  • A scholarship
  • Access to events and networking
  • Mentoring
  • Wellbeing support during scholars’ university studies

Curtin Medicine Casper Test

If you will be applying to Curtin University Medicine (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), apart from the UCAT, applicants will also need to register and complete the Casper Test. 

Available Casper test dates for Curtin Medicine: 

  • 11 Sep 2025 at 7:00 PM (AEST)
  • 5 Oct 2025 at 10:00 AM (AEDT)

28 August Arts Fellowship for Young People Close

 

Fellowships of $26,000 are available for individuals aged 18 - 25 to grow their participation in the arts and develop pathways for a creative future.

Funding may support research, skills development, residencies, creation of new work, mentorships, artist fees/living allowance, materials, and travel.

 

Up to 5 Arts Fellowships for Young People will be awarded each year.

1 September TISC Early Offers

The first round of Year 12 Early Offers will be released on Monday 1 September 2025. 

 

There will be three or four further rounds of Early Offers – confirmed dates will be available shortly on the TISC website. Most early offers will be conditional, so students should carefully read their offer letter so that they know what is required. 

September UCAT Results Delivered to Universities

Students applying for medicine courses will have undertaken University Clinical Aptitude Tests in July-August. The results of those tests will be delivered to universities in early September.

 

4 September Curtin Careers Expo

If you’re thinking of starting uni next year, this is your chance to find out what life at Curtin is really like. Our team are ready to answer all your questions about courses, pathways, scholarships and campus life.

 

This event is your opportunity to:

  • discover your course options
  • get personalised admissions and application advice
  • attend faculty info sessions
  • learn about the different pathways to uni
  • get help with your portfolio application.

     

There are booths with information about courses and study options. You can get one on one advice. There is a schedule of 15-minute information sessions from Business and Law, Health Sciences, Humanities, and Science and Engineering. Hear about the courses each faculty offers and careers they can lead to.

Applications are open Australian Tax Office (ATO) School leaver Program

The ATO School Leaver Program offers Year 12 graduates a permanent, full-time career, with a competitive salary and training and development opportunities. It's a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, earn a Certificate III in IT or business and start your career.

 

A competitive starting salary of $56,681 plus 15.4% super. After successfully completing the program, you’ll progress to a role at the next level with a salary of $61,749 plus 15.4% super.

29 September – 3 October ECU ATAR Revision Program

ECU will once again be offering FREE ATAR revision sessions both on campus and also streaming live for our regional and remote students. The sessions will be delivered by engaging teachers currently delivering the 2025 syllabus. Each session comprises a four-hour seminar covering: the Year 12 syllabus, exam techniques and revision tips, a Q & A session and a copy of revision notes. 

The 2025 Year 12 subjects are Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry, English, Maths Applications, Maths Methods, Maths Specialist and Physics. 

Sessions will run between Monday, 29 September and Friday, 3 October 2025.

Curtin Equity Scholarships for 2026

There are many scholarships available in 2026 with varying benefits. Some scholarships provide cash payments (one-off and continuing), others provide support for fees or potential site visit and vacation work opportunities.

 

Below is a list of scholarships for consideration within the 2026 - Semester 1 - Equity Scholarship Program (Future Students):

 

If you are successful in more than one scholarship, you will be awarded the highest value scholarship. In some cases, you may have the opportunity to select your preferred scholarship.
