Dear Families,
What a busy and positive Term 3 has been at Swan Hill North Primary School!
We started the term with some significant changes as we moved much of our school around in preparation for the next stage of our building works. I would like to thank our students, staff and families for the flexibility and patience they have shown as we continue to navigate these changes.
Despite the changes, there has been so much wonderful teaching and learning happening with many whole school events to celebrate.
Throughout the term, our students have had the opportunity to participate in camps, excursions, special activities and events, alongside all of the great learning taking place in classrooms each day.
It was fantastic to finish the term with our Footy Colours Day and see so many students and staff getting involved. A big thank you to Mrs Weaver for organising a special footy incursion for our Years 3–6 students. It was a great way to finish what has been a very busy term.
Building Upate
The holidays will also mark another exciting milestone in our school redevelopment.
We have been advised that the demolition of Block A and Block B will take place over the break. Temporary fencing will remain around sections of the school following the demolition to ensure everyone can safely access the site.
As the building works continue during Term 4, we should gradually begin to get more areas of our school back. We are also looking forward to receiving further information about when we will be able to move into our new Learning Building.
There have been plenty of changes happening around us, but it has been wonderful to see our students continue to learn, grow and make the most of every opportunity.
Hat
A reminder that all students will need their hat at the start of Term 4.
Please ensure your child has their school hat at school ready to wear during outdoor activities and break times. If your child needs a new hat, these can be purchased from the school office.
Athletics Day
Well done to all of our students who participated in our Athletics Day on Monday. It was lovely to see our whole school out there participating, having a go and supporting one another.
The beautiful sunshine certainly made the day even more enjoyable!
Thank you to all of our parents and families who came along to support our students. A big thank you also to Mrs Sanders for organising the day and to all of our staff for their support in making the day such a success.
2027 Enrolments
If you know of any families who are considering enrolling their child at Swan Hill North Primary School, please encourage them to contact the school office to arrange a tour. We would love the opportunity to show them around and share everything our school has to offer.
School Uniform
A friendly reminder that all students are expected to wear the full school uniform each day. This includes wearing black shorts, pants, skirts or skorts as part of our uniform. Blue bottoms are not part of the approved school uniform.
We appreciate your support in ensuring students come to school in the correct uniform each day.
Duty of Care
Families are reminded that teachers are on duty before school from 8.30am-8.50am and after school from 3.20pm until 3.30pm. Children should not be unattended in the school grounds before or after these times. Thank you for your support and co-operation with this.
I hope all of our families have a safe and enjoyable holiday break, and hopefully the sunshine sticks around! We look forward to welcoming everyone back for an exciting Term 4.
