Australia will celebrate teachers on World Teachers’ Day on Friday 30 October.
From lightbulb moments to helping someone find their way, teachers make a difference in ways big and small. This World Teachers’ Day, we’re putting that impact in the spotlight. We’d love you to share a moment when a teacher made a difference in your life and help Shine a light on the amazing work they do.

Last week in Mur Murra class cut vegetable and mixed homemade dips before enjoying a picnic outside in the fresh air.

Recently the Year 4s in Wirrap wrote and published small books and read them to the Foundation students in Mumumburra.

Earlier this year, Sreejita in Guwak proudly participated in the Australian Maths Competition, Australia’s longest-running, largest and most recognised mathematics competition for schools. The competition challenges students with unique and engaging problem-solving tasks developed annually by leading educators and academics, encouraging them to extend their mathematical thinking and skills.
Congratulations to Sreejita on her outstanding effort and achievement in earning a Credit Award. In recognition of this accomplishment, Sreejita was presented with her certificate at last Friday’s whole-school assembly. We are very proud of her dedication and success and commend her for representing our school so well.

Congratulations to our Attendance HEROs for their attendance in Week 3!

With the ever-increasing concerns around online safety in children and young people, it's more important than ever to support our families in being able to discuss topics with your children or young people such as gaming and social media, to cyberbullying and AI-generated content.

Understand common online risks and issues
Learn what helps in different scenarios
Talk with their child about what they do online
Know how to respond if something goes wrong
Please follow this link to the guide - Online safety book | eSafety Commissioner
This link (Parent resources | eSafety Commissioner) also provides resources for parents and carers to help you start the chat about online safety issues and strategies with your child.
