Dear Parents,

Last Friday we welcomed Bittern Pre- school students to partner with our 3/4 students learning about the Sea is our Best Friend program. It was such a wonderful experience for all involved. Our 3/4 students demonstrated excellent knowledge, leadership and kindness as they mentored the pre- school students to be little scientists in action, learning about the migratory birds and other marine life  in our precious Westernport Bay.

A huge thankyou to Dom Taylor and Sue Jackson for their excellent preparation and leadership. Today  we welcomed Crib Point Early Learning who conducted their kinder session onsite and then participated in a cooking session with Matt. Building positive relationships with our local community is paramount in ensuring we live out our vision and social teachings and we highly value our relationships with our local preschools and day cares.

Anzac Day

We invite all of our community  to attend the Anzac Day parade on Thursday in respect and honour of all of our Defence Force members past and present who serve our wonderful country. We will be meeting at 10.40am at the RSL and walking around to the cenotaph. This is a significant day in our school calendar and we would love to see as many families attend as possible. We ask students to wear their full uniform with red t-shirts and black school shoes.

New Building application

We have submitted a new capital grant application for the refurbishment of the junior classrooms and a new purpose built prep building which will be wonderful additions to our beautiful school and we hope and pray that we will be successful in receiving this much needed grant.

Finally, just a reminder that Friday is a pupil free day. We trust you will enjoy having time together as a family over the weekend.

Yours in Partnership,

Gab
