The Sea is our Best Friend 

On Friday some of our Year 4 students engaged in an interactive session with some children from Bittern Kindergarten. We all met at Woolley's Beach in the morning. Mrs Taylor began with reading a book to the group which was all about shorebirds. The Year 4 children then went on a scavenger hunt with a Kinder buddy. The kinder kids were so excited to spend some time with their older buddy, finding some new objects that are commonly found at Woolley's Beach. For example; sea urchins and small and some large crabs hidden under the rocks! Mrs Taylor and Mrs Hogg are so proud of the way our Year 4's engaged with the kinder children. They calmly shared their knowledge about the local area and kept their little buddies entertained! Well done to our amazing Year 4's!
