Our Friends of Donvale Team are excited to be hosting Welcome Fest again this year:
Saturday, 21st February
4pm - 8pm
Here at Donvale Christian College
and there will be something for everyone!
If you are new to the school this year, just want to hang out with your friends for the afternoon or meet new people, then this is the event for you!
- Awesome giant inflatables, including Water Slide, Maze and long-time favourites like Wipeout and Meltdown
- Carnival games that will test your reflexes, your aim, your nerve...
- An interactive circus with entertainers available to help you try out some new skills
- Interactive zone with VR, Mario Cart and a Silent Disco. (This is only open to Year 6 and above so bring your class-mates along!)
- A photo booth
- Your ticket will get you free popcorn, fairy floss and a donut plus a whole lot of fun!
- Food trucks with a variety of tasty options plus ice creams, drinks and BBQ will be available to purchase

If you have been to a Welcome Fest event before you will not only know how much fun it is but also how many volunteers are around to keep everything running smoothly. We need approximately 100 volunteers! When you have completed your Parent Helper course, please sign up here to help: Welcome Fest Parent Volunteers 2026
AND if you are in YEARS 10-12 and volunteer some time to help at this event, you'll also receive a voucher for a FREE ice cream, FREE drink and FREE sausage. Where else can you go to get that sort of deal?
If you are in Years 10-12 and are coming along by yourself (without your family) to volunteer, we'll even let you in for FREE! No ticket required!
