Dear Parents and Families,
It has been wonderful to see students enjoying books, exploring new genres, and developing their love of reading.

đ Library Borrowing
All students from Prep to Grade 6 are encouraged to borrow books each week.
Important reminders:
- Students must bring their library bag to borrow books.
- Books should be returned before the next library session.
- Please support your child by reading with them at home.
Reading regularly helps build vocabulary, comprehension skills, and confidence.

đWhatâs Happening in the Library?
This term we are focusing on:
- Exploring different genres (mystery, adventure, fantasy, non-fiction)
- Learning how to care for library books
- Developing research skills in senior grades
Celebrating respectful and responsible library behaviour

đBook Care Reminder
Please remind children:
- Keep books in their library bag
- Keep books away from food and water
- Return books on time
If a book is lost or damaged, please contact the school as soon as possible.

đ Library Club
Library Club runs every Monday and Tuesday at 2:00pm in the library.
Students are welcome to join us for:
- Quiet reading time
- Creative activities
- Book discussions
- Fun literacy games
Library Club is a wonderful opportunity for students to spend extra time in the library and further develop their love of reading in a relaxed and supportive environment.

- Read with your child daily (even 10â15 minutes makes a difference!)
- Ask questions about the story
- Visit your local library together
- Encourage your child to try different types of books
