Athletics Carnival wrap 

What an incredible Athletics Carnival! 

This year’s carnival was one of the closest we have ever had, with only 30 points separating all three factions before the relay events. It made for a very exciting finish, with every race, jump, throw and team event making a difference right until the end. 

A huge thank you to all of our students for the fantastic effort, determination and encouragement they showed throughout the day. We would also like to thank our staff for all the hard work that went into organising, running and supporting the carnival. 

It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout from our families. Thank you to all the parents and carers who came along, cheered loudly and joined in the activities. The Parent vs Teacher competitions were dominated this year by the parents who came away with the trophy and the all-important bragging rights! 

Congratulations to Karda, who were awarded the Sportsmanship Trophy for the way they supported everyone and demonstrated great team spirit throughout the carnival. 

Congratulations also to Jirda, our overall winners for the day’s events! 

Our Champion Girl and Champion Boy awards were based on points earned from individual events, including the sprints, cross country, long jump and long throws. 

It was remarkable just how close the final points were across the factions. This was our closest carnival yet and made for a fantastic day of competition, teamwork and school spirit. 

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. We are already looking forward to next year!
