Congratulations to all our amazing students on winning the recent district athletics event! Your hard work, and team spirit truly shone through on the day. We are so proud of the way you represented our school, not only with your incredible performances on the track and field, but also with your encouragement and support for one another. Norwood Football Club U12 Girls - Best and Fairest Winners
On Sunday (31/8), Cleo (6S) and Lexi (6S) were both recognised for their outstanding efforts in their U12 footy teams. Lexi was awarded runner-up Best & Fairest for the Norwood Girls Purple team, while Cleo received the Best & Fairest for the Norwood Girls Gold team. Impressively, both girls also polled 10 votes in the EFNL, with Lexi playing in Section A and Cleo in Section C.
From the Dance Studio!
Hi, I'm Nikita and throughout this year I participated in Hip Hop Dance Competitions with my dance school Careen Dance Studio. It was my first year to ever compete against some of the best dance schools. I took part in 3 dance competitions and it was amazing! I had the time of my life. My favourite part was getting to dance with my friends. It was so much fun, and having my family there made it even more special. My mum, dad, and grandparents came to watch and cheer me on. My mum especially was super proud, and yelled very loudly which made me feel really happy. The best moment of all was at the end when our hip hop crew came first! I got to stay on stage with my friend and collect the awards. I was so proud of myself! When I walked back to the dressing room with my winner’s badge, everyone started cheering. It was the perfect end to an unforgettable day.
