From the 3/4 Big Goose Excursion
Last Thursday, the grade 3/4s went to the Big Goose excursion. The bus ride was a long 50 minute drive, but everyone was excited. We went to the shed and put our bags on the seats.
First we went to see the reptile show and saw snakes and lizards. Then we split up to different groups. My group went to feed some animals; we fed goats, chickens, alpacas and turkeys. After that, we went to feed kangaroos and saw dingos and wombats. Next, we all went to the really big playground which was super cool. After that we had lunch, and went to pet some hamsters and baby chickens. Then we went on a big tractor ride and saw some sheep, cows and American bison. It was so much fun!
After the tractor ride, we had the sheepdog show where a kelpie round up sheep. We had time for one more play on the playground before we packed our bags and waited for the bus. In conclusion, it was a really epic and fun day!
