Year 8 Music

On Friday 8th August, a contingent of our Year 8 band musicians attended the Mega Music Day in Stawell. 

The event, now in its fifth year, hosts Junior high school musicians in an all-day music reading and rehearsal day which culminates in a concert for the community. Our musicians mingled and performed with players from Phoenix, Stawell and Horsham.

 An excellent day of music reading and practice with 70 students performing. Some of the musicians, including from Ballarat High, have been learning their instrument for less than one year. The opportunity to rehearse and perform with others is valuable and exciting. 2025 saw yet another fabulous and enjoyable experience for our students.
