Prayer for the School Holidays
Loving Father,
As we come to the end of another term,
we turn to you in confidence and place all difficulties in your hands
in order to appreciate the balance the holiday period brings.
Be with us and our families, and help us to embrace both rest and recreation
in order to return refreshed to continue on our work in Your name.
Amen

St Carlo Acutis Major Relic Tour
Our Diocese has been extremely privileged to have been visited by a major relic of the first millennial saint, Saint Carlo Acutis. McCarthy Catholic College in Tamworth were particularly blessed as they were the first school in Australia to host the relic. Many of our staff and students have had the incredible opportunity to venerate the relic and pray for St Carlo's intercession in the parishes of Inverell, Armidale, and Tamworth.

Angelus Fun Fact!
The bells! The bells!
The Angelus bell pattern follows a distinct 3-3-3-9 sequence. It consists of three sets of three individual strikes (representing the three Hail Marys), followed by a final, longer sequence of nine strokes. In certain parts of Europe and North America, churches sometimes substitute the final 9 distinct strokes with a one-minute continuous free-swinging peal.
