P&C School Disco - 19 June

The Term 2 P&C Disco was a fantastic Winter Wonderland themed event....

Thanks to our P&C Executives, and special thanks to Lauren and Emma for coordinating this event and Alana, Bridget, Jade, and Kristy for the teamwork setting up!

We are also very grateful to our school community for supporting this event including:

our P&C members and many parent and carer volunteers, YMCA, our Outside School Hours Care – Louise and her team for donating sausages and their time to run the sausage sizzle and the many Team Tally staff members who volunteered their time helping to set-up, supervise and pack up.

Congratulations Tobin

Congratulations to Tobin for winning the house rewards activity this term by earning the most Tiger Paws.  Tiger Paws are tickets that are awarded to students in recognition for positive behaviour. The houses were very close this term, so it looks like any house could win next term.

Report Cards

Report cards were emailed to parents and caregivers yesterday.  We encourage families to discuss report cards with students and include an emphasis on the level of effort children have applied.  Progress interviews will be offered early next term.

NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC week is within the June/July holidays each year so we allocate a week early Term 3 to mark this important event with our students. Students will attend an Indigenous Performance (17 July).

Advance Notice - Book Character Costume Day

One of our annual highlights is our Book Character Costume Day.  This year it is scheduled for Tuesday, 18 August.  Children are encouraged to dress in costume as their favourite book character and are asked to bring the book with them on the day.  We are looking forward to this special event that forms part of our celebration of reading within our Book Week.

As another wonderful term draws to a close, we wish everyone a safe and happy holiday period! We look forward to welcoming our students back for Term 3 on Monday, 13 July.
