Term Overview

Term 4 promises to be a busy and exciting finish to the year at Kingsbury Primary School. As our staff continue to strengthen classroom teaching and learning, students also have a wonderful range of activities and celebrations to look forward to.

Our new Tiger Turf is open for business and has already been a hit with students! It is wonderful to see this space being enjoyed, providing more opportunities for sport, active play and connection.

The refurbishment of our Multi-Purpose Room is also nearing completion. This improved space will add value to our school community, allowing us to expand our programs and bring students and families together for learning, activities and celebrations.

Our calendar includes interschool sport in cricket, bat tennis and rounders, along with STOMP, swimming and our colourful Colour Run.

Our Grade 5 students have been preparing for the Yarning Conference, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to recognising and respecting First Nations peoples, cultures and perspectives. This is an opportunity for students to listen, learn and deepen their understanding.

On 11 November, our school community will come together to mark Remembrance Day and reflect on the service and sacrifice of those who have served.

Grade 6 Graduation will be a special highlight of the term! We look forward to celebrating our students’ achievements, friendships and growth throughout their primary school years. It will be an opportunity to share memories, recognise each student’s contribution to Kingsbury and give them a heartfelt send-off as they prepare for secondary school—a proud and memorable occasion for students, families and staff.

Our Prep Transition Program will welcome our newest students and families, helping them build friendships and feel a sense of belonging at Kingsbury before starting school in 2027.

Please note our Curriculum Day on Monday 2 November, when students will not attend school. Further dates and details will be shared through upcoming newsletters and school communications.

Throughout this busy term, our commitment remains clear: to strengthen learning and connection so that every student feels supported, challenged and valued. Working together with our families, we will continue to build a school community where children can achieve, belong and thrive. Have a great Term 4.
