Welcome to Term Four!

This year has absolutely seemed to fly by with all the amazing learning and activities that are constantly happening at GWPS. While we only have one term left for 2026, it is absolutely filled to the brim with engaging activities and some very important learning experiences.

First and foremost, in Week Three we have the highly anticipated camp at Cave Hill Creek! The students have been very excited for the experience and, as a Year Four team, we are all very excited to guide them through the excitement and challenges that will come through the 3 days we are away. They will participate in a range of amazing activities, including archery, canoeing, bush art, abseiling, low ropes courses and initiative games.

There is also going to be a cricket gala day for those who have successfully tried out, as well as District Athletics for the competitors who excelled at the Division level.

In terms of learning, we have two new English texts, a range of Mathematics topics and a new Inquiry unit, which will encourage creativity and collaboration. There will be lots of student assessment in preparation for reports, as well as some very important contributions coming from students for the annual GWPS Yearbook pages.

We look forward to supporting your children through a very exciting term and make the end of Year Four a time to remember!

Thursday 26th November – Open afternoon for Science Inquiry
Tuesday 8th December – 2027 Day
Friday 11th December – Class Party
Wednesday 16th December – Semester Two Reports go Live to Families
Friday 18th December – Last day of Term 4, School ends at 1.30pm
