Wellbeing & Learning

This week, our School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) focus is on RESPECT:
We always use toilets and drink taps for their intended purpose. Students will learn about the importance of keeping these shared spaces clean, safe, and accessible to everyone. Teachers will reinforce these expectations and acknowledge students who demonstrate our school values. Remember, if you see a stamp on your child’s hand ask them which school value they were displaying and what class reward they are working towards!
As part of our social and emotional learning curriculum, students will be engaging with the Respectful Relationships Curriculum Resources, which help them develop life skills such as emotional awareness, empathy, and problem-solving. Alongside this, the Zones of Regulation framework supports students in recognising and managing their emotions, helping them to make positive choices throughout the school day. These programs align with our school values of respect, resilience, inclusivity, and curiosity.
Lastly, we would like to say a huge thank you to our school community for the generous donations of Lego and Play-Doh tools for our Wellbeing Space and Lunchtime Clubs. These resources help to provide creative and calming activities for our students that help support emotional regulation and social connections.
