Summer Uniform

As we look ahead to Term 4 and warmer weather, a reminder that students need to bring and wear their school hat every day. Hats are an important part of our Sun Protection Policy and support students to stay protected while enjoying outdoor learning and play.

Please make sure your child has their school hat ready for the beginning of Term 4. If you need a new hat, please see Kate at Reception, as hats are available to purchase through our Uniform Shop.

Sunscreen is also required across Term 4. If your child has specific sunscreen requirements, please ensure you send it in with them and that it is clearly labelled with their name on it.

Also, a reminder that shorts worn as part of the Summer Uniform should be mid-thigh length, including football-style shorts and bike shorts, ensuring all students are comfortable and able to participate fully in school activities. We would like to emphasise that this is not a change to the policy, but a gentle reminder to support families to prepare Summer uniforms that align with our policy.

For safety reasons, footwear worn at school must be either runners or closed-toe leather shoes. Crocs, or similar styles of footwear, are not permitted as they do not provide the required support and protection for students during learning and play activities.

As always, the school is here to support families with uniform needs. If you require assistance, please visit Reception where we can share our available second-hand uniform options and work with you to support your child’s uniform needs. Families can also access support through State Schools Relief’s Affordable School Uniforms Program to assist with uniforms.
