Not only did these student receive the most opportunity to learn during February but finishing on top of the attendance ladder or having no unexplained absences, meant they were rewarded with 2 hours of fun at gravity shack with chips & nuggets included. Not a bad way to celebrate!! Well done 1/2 Carroll & 5/6 Rasmussen.

Harmony Week
Harmony week is about celebrating inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all Australians, from the traditional custodians of the land to those who have come from many countries around the world.
We will be recognizing Harmony week tomorrow, Friday 20th, by asking students to wear orange (We will also run activities in the classroom, have a VR session for each class, a poster competition and all come together at recess for a free orange sno cone and minor games.

Stop Work Tuesday 24th March
There is a statewide stopwork planned for next Tuesday, 24 March. I anticipate our school will be greatly affected but cannot send confirmation details until Monday afternoon. Please note our staff are not considering this lightly. We thank the community for their support and understanding.
Emergency Management Procedure

All schools are required to have an emergency management plan which includes a variety of processes for handling an emergency. These include at least one practice emergency drill each term. These include; evacuation offsite, evacuation onsite, lockdown and a zone lock out. We plan to hold a lockdown drill Friday 27h March. If you have any questions or concerns, please let your child's classroom teacher know so that we can put some additional supports in place
Student Progress reports
In an effort to keep families informed and up to date we will once again provide progress reports at the end of this term. This will give you a snapshot of your child’s progress and achievements this term. These will be available on Thursday 2nd April on XUNO. Please contact the office if you require a hardcopy. Please note Parent teacher interviews will be at the end of term 2.
