Meet our Staff

Mrs DeCarlo
I have been part of the POPS community for many years and have had the opportunity to teach across a range of year levels. During this time, I discovered my true passion in the junior years, where the foundations for learning are built.
In my classroom, learning is fun, engaging and meaningful. Together, we celebrate achievements, embrace challenges and enjoy the journey of learning as we grow and learn from one another.
Outside of school, my favourite thing to do is to spend time with my family and friends. Most Sundays, you’ll find me on the sidelines of a soccer field cheering on my daughter at her games, something I’ve loved doing for the past 15 years!
I also enjoy going to the beach, heading out for walks and exploring new places whenever I can. In quieter moments, I enjoy relaxing with a good book and listening to music.
Miss Keddou
My name is Miss K and this is my third year of teaching. I first joined the POPS community in 2024 as a CRT teacher and was lucky enough to move into a Grade 1 classroom in 2025. This year, I’m excited to continue my journey teaching our amazing Grade 1/2 class alongside Mrs De Carlo.
I come from a family of five. My mum, dad, twin brother and younger sister. Family is very important to me and I love spending time with them.
Outside of school, I enjoy going out for dinner, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, being creative, and finding fun new activities to try.
I love being a teacher and making learning fun and engaging. You will often hear lots of giggles in our classroom as we make sure there is always room for fun. Most importantly, we create a classroom where students feel safe, heard, and proud of who they are.
