General Health Reminders
Winter season
It is recommended that students, staff members or visitors who have symptoms of cold, influenza or COVID-19 do not attend school, or go home as soon as possible after becoming unwell at school. Parents of symptomatic students will be asked to collect their child from school and keep them home until they are no longer symptomatic. Students who test positive to COVID-19 are not permitted to attend school for a minimum of 5 days.
Illnesses
Please continue to monitor and report to the College if your child has any of the following illnesses:
- Hand, Foot, Mouth
- Head lice
- School sores
- Whooping cough
- Chicken pox
Gastro
Concussion
Children often bump or bang their heads, and it can be difficult to know whether it is serious or not. Head injuries can be mild, moderate or severe. If your child suffers a head knock during weekend sport/activities and has developed any symptoms afterwards, please let the College know, so we can continue to monitor and support them.
