Dearly loved and loving husband of Sharyn.

Father, father-in-law and grandfather of Stuart  (svc 1987-91) and Sandra, Cameron (svc 1989-94) and Emma, Madeline, Claire, Will, Georgia, and Sammy. 

Brave to the end, loved forever. Rest in Peace.

 

BAILEY Peter Barry d.05.03.2025

Passed away peacefully in his 87th year, in the presence of his loving family.

Peter was not a former student of the College but had a long association with the OVA football club. Son of Claude and Doris Bailey (both dec.), brother to Ross (dec.), John, and Gavin. Beloved husband of Jill (dec.) and Mary. 

Brother-in-law of Paddy Shortall (svc 1960-66).

 

BEVILACQUA  Peter d. 03.03.2025

Not a former student but many OVs would remember him as a former Marist Sportsmaster, as Tasmania Junior Development Officer for Aussie Rules, and as Secretary of the Tasmania Catholic Teachers’ Union. 

Born Pietro Paulo Bevilacqua in San Marco in Lamis, Foggia, Italy. Devoted husband of Christine, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Robyn, David (dec) and Patrice, Simon and Michelle, Timothy and Justine. Much loved Poppy to Matt (svc 2001-2008) and Brielle, Joel (SVC 12007-2010) and Danni, Luis, and Samson. Great-grandfather-to-be of Baby Bevy. Loved son of Raffaele and Carolina, dear brother to Antonio (Tony), Michele (Mick), Giuseppe (Joe) (all dec.).

 

VICKERS Paul ‘Pop’ 03.11.1944 – 08.03.2025 (SVC 1956-61)

Passed quietly away after a long hard-fought battle. Beloved husband of Christine, father of Catherine and Belinda, grandfather of Elsie, father-in-law of John and good friend to many. Always the life of the party.
