College Operations & Parent/Carer Engagement

The College will continue to prioritise and foster strong relationships between all families and students as this has a positive correlation with student achievement, wellbeing and engagement. The Learning & Wellbeing Committee as part of the College Council has discussed how to improve and continue to develop these strong relationships.

As a College, we ask all parents/carers to:

-contribute through voluntary payments.

-be active & responsive with Compass.

-attend and connect with events relevant to student learning and co-curricular programs.

We thank all families for their connection to the College to begin the year. Within this Newsletter you will find the contact information for relevant members of the school. Please email the school if you are unsure about who to contact: viewbank.co@education.vic.gov.au

We encourage and require all families to check Compass daily to ensure they are aware of all information being shared by the school, as well as to pay and give consent to events. NewsFeed is where you will find all information about certain events, or announcements. For any events requiring consent or payment, these will be on your dashboard in Compass as well.

We have launched our new website! Our website address is still the same: https://www.viewbank.vic.edu.au/ The College spent a considerable amount of time re-designing and updating content to reflect all that we do at Viewbank College.

We encourage all families to explore the website regularly to keep up to date with events, people and programs. At the bottom of the home page is our new calendar, which provides a yearly overview of important dates for the diary.

This is the best place to go to see what is happening within the school that is relevant to your child. By clicking on ‘View All Events’ you will be able to see a month-by-month view of important events.
