Library News

Welcome to the 2026 school year from the library!
About the library
The library is a welcoming space where students come together to read, research, collaborate, learn and connect. Our flexible space is designed to support a wide range of activities. The library is usually open before and after school, as well as during breaks. An IT Helpdesk operates at breaktimes, and the College Study Hall runs in the library every Tuesday after school.
The library collection
Our collection includes contemporary and classic fiction, graphic novels and manga, biographies and non-fiction, magazines and newspapers. Our collection is browsable on the library website – where students will also find links to eBooks and audiobooks and topic guides to support their study.
When adding to the collection we prioritise relevant, engaging materials that reflect the diverse interests of our school community, and we welcome suggestions from students.
Events and activities
We run activities and events throughout the year, including a student volunteer program, bookmark design competition, Book Week activities and the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge.
Board games, puzzles and drawing materials are always available at breaktimes, and we run organised activities on Tuesdays (Craft & Connect) and Thursdays (Build & Board).
