Engineers Australia

Engineering design is involved in almost every item we use each day, from our toothbrushes through to the vehicles we drive, the computers we use, the buildings we work in, the medicines we take and the healthcare we experience. Engineering is a broad and exciting field with a diverse range of career paths following graduation. We encourage students of all ages to consider and pursue a career in STEM and engineering.

When students are doing their research about studying engineering at university, it is useful to pay attention to which courses are accredited by Engineers Australia.  Completing an accredited course means that graduates of that course are eligible for to become members of Engineers Australia.

Students might wish to watch this useful YouTube clip from the University of Newcastle on what engineering isWhat is Engineering?
