Japanese

Students will revisit words for greeting each other and the teacher in Japanese. Students will actively engage in using Japanese throughout the lesson. This will include responding with a greeting during the marking of the roll and singing songs. Simple language games will develop understanding and recall of Japanese sounds, words and phrases. We will also explore the hiragana script through creating an Easter decoration labeled with a greeting.

Digital Technologies

Students this term will be using the Sphero indi to learn about sequences. They will work together to create paths and maps, using colour-coded instructions to get their robot from start to finish. This helps them practice giving clear instructions and fixing mistakes in their "code" when the robot doesn't go where they expected.
