P & C News

I’d like to begin with a heartfelt farewell to the P&C Committee members who stepped down from their roles or had their children move on to high school at the end of last year. Your dedication, energy, and countless hours of support over the years have shaped so many of the opportunities our students enjoy today. On behalf of the P&C Committee and the whole school community, thank you for everything you contributed. You leave big shoes to fill! This year we have welcomed a number of new faces into P&C roles. Congratulations to everyone elected. We’re looking forward to learning the ropes together and getting stuck into organising events and initiatives that support our school community throughout the year.

Our Easter Raffle subcommittee has been busy preparing for our annual Easter Raffle. A friendly reminder to please return your raffle tickets and money to the office by Tuesday 31st March. The raffle will be drawn after the Hat Parade on 2nd April and is always a highlight for the kids. There’s something magical about the excitement that builds as they wait to see whose name will be drawn! A huge thank you to our P&C Committee members Hayaat and Moussa C, who have been sourcing and organising all the chocolate donations for our raffle. Your efforts make this much loved tradition possible every year.

Our Mother’s Day subcommittee has also been hard at work sourcing gifts for this year’s Mother’s Day Stall. The children absolutely love choosing something special for their mums, grandmothers, mother figures and carers. The room is always filled with excitement as the children come through to make their selections! If you’re able to volunteer on the day to help run the stall, we’d love to hear from you. We have a lot of fun and laughs with the students, and each other!

Our Secondhand Uniform Shop is also going strong. We’re aiming to open at least twice each term, dependant on volunteer availability. All items are just $5, and we often run 2‑for‑1 deals. Simply check the whiteboard in the shop for the latest specials. If you have uniforms that you’d like to donate, you can drop them at the school office. Open days will be advertised on Sentral, and if you’d like to volunteer to help out at an open day, please contact us via the P&C email.

Thank you again to everyone who continues to support the P&C. Your involvement, big or small, helps create a school community we’re all proud to be part of.
