Sacred Heart Swimming Sports Years 4-6
A big congratulations to our Years 4–6 students who represented their houses at the Sacred Heart Swimming Carnival last Thursday at Blue Water Fitness Centre. It was fantastic to see such great sportsmanship and so many students willing to jump in and have a go. The results were incredibly close, with the final placings decided in the last relay events:
- 1st: Arundell (Yellow) – 537 points
- 2nd: Marian (Blue) – 525 points
- 3rd: Mercy (Red) – 521 points
Well done to all competitors for their effort and enthusiasm. Thank you to our wonderful parent helpers for your support, and to our teachers and the Blue Water staff for ensuring the carnival ran smoothly and successfully. Finally, a big thank you to Mr Tebble for all his hard work collating the results on the day.

Colac Division Tennis Tournament
The Colac Division Primary Schools Tennis Tournament will take place this Thursday at the Elliminyt Tennis Courts. Unfortunately due to the high number of entries from schools around the district, our entries from Sacred Heart have been very restricted. This will be a ‘tennis doubles’ event. The day (for the boys) will start at 9:00am and finish at 11.45am. The day (for the girls) will start at 12.00 noon and finish at approximately 3.00 pm. Students are reminded that they need to wear their sports uniform and school hat, bring along their tennis racquet, drink bottle, fruit, snacks and lunch for the day. Please apply sunscreen before leaving home. Sunscreen will be available at the tennis tournament for students to reapply. We do need parents to assist with overseeing scoring on the day, so please indicate on PAM if you can help out.
