What we've been up to
State Champions
Aaron
Congratulations to Aaron who competed at the State Titles in Brisbane in October. Aaron broke his PB for 100mtrs and placed 2nd and he placed 1st for 200mtrs but fell short on times for the podium finish in both events. He represented his school and region with great pride and exhibited all our school values of care, courage and cooperation at all times. As this is Aarons last year of school and last opportunity to do this again, he had a great time, and this experience is a memory that will last a lifetime for him.
Mikayla
Congratulations to Mikayla who also competed in the state trials in Brisbane. Mikayla placed 10th in the state for 100m for her age. She also represented her school with pride and displayed all our school values of care, courage and cooperation at all times.
We are so proud of you both!

AFL
We are excited to share that our secondary students have had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Scott Smithwick, the Development Lead from AFL Queensland. Over the past few weeks, Scott has been leading engaging AFL skills and drills during our physical education lessons. This experience has not only enhanced our students' understanding of the game but has also allowed them to learn directly from a professional in the field. Our students have expressed their enthusiasm and enjoyment in working with Scott, and we are grateful for the chance to develop their skills in such a dynamic and supportive environment. We look forward to seeing how they apply what they've learned both on and off the field!
New swing
Our new swing has been put up in the junior playground and all our students are loving it. Thankyou Joc and Barry for installing it.
