Dear Parents and Carers,
This fortnight I just wanted to highlight the incredible learning happening across our specialist spaces at KPS. Our specialist team gives every student the chance to really shine and experience some amazing learning. When I walk around spaces I always see how engaged our students are.
Take a look at the photos below, they capture some of the learning that is happening in our specialists' classes.
A huge thank you to our specialist teachers for the passion and expertise they bring every single day.
I would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our families for the understanding and flexibility you showed during last Thursday's statewide stop work action. We know that keeping children at home created challenges for many families, and we are incredibly grateful for the support our community showed throughout the day.
Industrial action is never something our staff undertake lightly. It reflects their strong belief in the value of public education and their commitment to ensuring that government schools receive the funding, staffing, working conditions and fair remuneration needed to continue providing an outstanding education for every child.
